Also included are scattered materials on foreign tourism in the U.S., Congressional trips to the People's Republic of China, Vice President Rockefeller's overseas travel, and assistance to various U.S. citizens planning overseas travel. The file consists primarily of routine notifications, clearances and itineraries, but sometime includes draft messages, cable traffic, briefing material and reports on trips. Travel by the President is not included. Most of this voluminous file is accessible through cross references filed under country of destination and name of official.
